The Public Relations Women Foundation recently delivered the first session of the Experiencing PR Global Summit 2026 webinar series in collaboration with the League of East African Directors (LEAD), marking the beginning of a five-part programme commemorating five years of the Experiencing PR platform.

This first session brought together participants from Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Nigeria in a regional conversation exploring the role of narrative in shaping economic opportunity across emerging markets. Beyond the substance of the discussions, the webinar reflected a deliberate institutional approach to programme delivery; one built on partnership, shared visibility, and aligned objectives.

The collaboration between the Foundation and LEAD was designed as a working model for how mission-driven institutions can jointly convene meaningful global conversations. Both organisations contributed to the intellectual and operational design of the session, including speaker nominations, joint publicity, and programme development. The webinar also created space for each institution to present its work and engage directly with participants, ensuring that the partnership extended beyond co-branding into genuine institutional exchange. This approach provided both institutions with opportunities to engage new professional audiences while contributing to a shared agenda for strengthening leadership, institutional credibility, and economic development in emerging markets.

The Foundation’s partnership approach is built on a simple principle: meaningful global conversations are best delivered through collaboration among credible institutions across sectors. By combining regional networks, professional expertise, and institutional platforms, partners are able to convene discussions that are both locally grounded and internationally relevant. This approach enables the Experiencing PR platform to draw on diverse institutional strengths while maintaining a coherent intellectual direction.

As the Experiencing PR platform enters its fifth year, the Foundation is deepening its emphasis on institutional partnerships as a pathway to global engagement. Rather than relying solely on individual participation, the platform works with professional bodies, leadership networks, business associations, policy institutions, and knowledge organisations that share an interest in strengthening the role of strategic communication in economic and social development.
